PROJECT X Release Notes

Overview

We’re excited to announce the release of PROJECT X Version v3.2.1! This update brings a range of new features, enhancements, critical bug fixes, and improvements to overall system performance and security. Below is a detailed summary of what's included in this release.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Payroll Rules for Hourly Employees: Leave and policy entitlements are now disabled for employees with hourly rate configurations. Restriction added to define a maximum number of working hours per week. Unused hours will not be carried forward to the following week.
  • AI-Based Tax Calculation: Integrated AI-powered tax computation logic into payroll (Deadline met: Sunday).
  • Bank Slip Renamed: Bank Slip is now renamed to Disbursed Template throughout the Payroll module for better clarity.
  • Separate Invoice Generation System: Implemented an independent system for invoice generation outside the existing billing flow.
  • Employee Loan Visibility: Employees can now view their applied loans from their profile/dashboard.
  • Date Picker Improvements: Holiday and Weekend selectors in Settings now feature an updated, user-friendly date picker interface.
  • Company Request and SSLCommerz Integration: Modified company request functionality and added modal-based invoice creation with payment integration via SSLCommerz.

Bug Fixes & UI Improvements

  • Duplicate Invoice Number Issue: Fixed recurring invoice number duplication error.
  • Payroll – Excel View Close Button Bug: Resolved issue where closing the Excel view modal would remove the selected user section.
  • Payslip – Missing Salary Fields: Fixed missing fields for Day Counted Salary and Basic Salary in the right-side payslip modal.
